Stanley has been a lifelong resident of Barre, MA having attended schools in the Barre system, graduating in 1971. Stanley has previously dedicated 20 years as Senior Project Manager for the Worcester Housing Authority in the Modernization and New Development Department, retiring in 2017. Stanley is currently board chairperson for the Barre Council on Aging.

Douglas Martin
Douglas has a background in environmental engineering, environmental health, and safety management. Douglas has served on the Planning Board in Barre for several years and served as Chairman for three years. Douglas is an appointed delegate to CMPRC, as a member of the CMRPC Legislative Affairs Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee.

Paul Cranston
​Paul is a lifelong resident of Barre and has been an attorney at Cranston & Cranston, P.C. in Barre for 35 years. Paul has served on several boards and committees in Barre including: Barre Common Oversight Committee (chairman), Barre Business Association, Town Moderator (20 yrs.), Barre & Quabbin Area Little League, St. Francis of Assisi Finance Committee, Barre Savings Charitable Foundation.

Richard Whippee is a lifelong resident of Barre and a 1955 graduate of Barre High School. Richard has served on several local organizations and committees in various capacities. He joined the Master Plan committee to continue his service to the town.

Meet the Consultants
Dominique Dutremble
Dominique runs CMRPC’s Comprehensive Planning Program. She has a decade of planning experience, with the main focus being Central Massachusetts. Her areas of expertise include long-range strategic planning, economic development, and international development She holds a Masters degree in Community Development and Planning and a Bachelors degree in Political Science, both from Clark University.

Emily Glaubitz
​Emily is a graduate of Clark University with a Master’s Degree in Community Development and Planning. At CMRPC, her primary focuses have been on housing and economic development. Her previous Master Planning experience includes plans for West Brookfield and Holden.

Nina is a graduate of Clark University with a degree in Geography and a Masters in Community Development and Planning. At CMRPC her primary focus has been on economic development. Her previous Master Planning experiences include both the Hopedale and Mendon.

Matt Franz
Matt provides GIS management, services and support to CMRPC staff, member communities and outside agencies. Matt has been working in state and municipal GIS since 2000. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Cartography.

Sarah is a graduate of Clark University with a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Economic Geography and a Master's Degree in Community Development and Planning.
